Always a fab experience, I will be back. This great hotel occupies a historic building in the historic style. All the rooms are clean with hair dryers going to the front desk and the staff is best. The venue has perfect and magnificent location iN THE MOUNTAINS. There's Gelateria Sanelli not too far away from the property, they have tea/coffee/desserts.

The central heating in the room was a plus. I appreciated the flat-screen TV with cable channels. - Having a study table in the room was convenient. - the presence of a bidet was a welcome feature. - the hotel's location in the heart of a pedestrian zone made it very central. - It was a short walk to pieno centro, the mountains, and the main square.

I absolutely loved the beautiful and elegant decoration of the hotel. The classic furnishings and luxurious details created a charming and sophisticated atmosphere. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, perfect for senior people like me to navigate comfortably. I also appreciated that the hotel had good accessibility, with ramps and elevators available throughout the premises.
If I were to ask for a better vacation for senior people, I would suggest that the children working there could be more attentive and considerate towards us. It would be nice if they could offer assistance when needed and be more proactive in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction during our stay.

The rooms at Grand Hotel Regina Salsomaggiore are so spacious and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring downtown. I loved the peacefulness and the breathtaking view of the streets and hills from my room overlooking Piazza Roma. Plus, having a TV, safe, and en suite bathroom with free toiletries made me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the shower in the private bathroom a little bit small. But hey, that's just my opinion!

We also enjoyed the balcony overlooking the bustling square. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who were always ready to assist us. The value we got for our money was exceptional. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the square. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the area, and the staff treated us with kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay.
Breakfast delights could have been improved by having a separate breakfast area that was not being used as an access to a conference, as it was crowded and noisy with people and furniture being brought through.

The hotel is located in a convenient area close to transportation and local restaurants. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful parquet floors. The bedding and towels were clean and comfortable.
The hotel is outdated and needs some renovations. The furniture and decor seem to be from a past era, and some basic maintenance is lacking. The breakfast selection was limited, and the service was poor. The staff were not friendly or attentive.
